Today’s featured podcast: Don’t Wait For Your Wake Up Call! with Melissa Deally
As an Integrative Mind Body Health Practitioner, I have come to realize that we simply haven’t been taught how to optimize our health, and that the average person has habits that are negatively impacting their health, due to this lack of knowledge, through no fault of their own. Public health and our school system simply don’t teach us enough about nutrition, sleep, stress, gut health or how interconnected our bodies are! Modern life has us more sleep deprived, stressed out and the sickest we’ve ever been, and I believe it is time to bring this education to you, so that you CAN be empowered in your health, and you can then make the right choices for you and your family. The choices you make today impact your future 1 year, 5 years, 10 years + from now. It is never too early to start looking after your health, as Health is your TRUE wealth…without it what do you have?
I therefore bring you solo episodes, teaching you on some aspect of your health, as well as inspirational stories of hope from guests who have healed themselves, so that you know that you can heal yourself too, even when the medical industry might simply give you a drug and let you know that is all they can do for you. I also introduce you to other holistic practitioners, as there is more than one way to heal and I want to share with you, the myriad of options available to you. When you have hope, your body can heal, and you always have hope If there is still something more to try!
I also hope to motivate you to make your health a priority and to take preventative action. The average N American today is spending the last 10 years of their life in a nursing home, this isn’t quality life. They are simply “slowly dying”. Not only that, the cost is prohibitive, currently at $118,000 / year, and by 2030 forecast to be $141,000 per year. That doesn’t even include your medical costs, that is simply room and board. When you instead proactively take care of your health now, it costs a lot less in the long run, and you will get to enjoy your last years, living fully and in the process extend your health span and life span. My question to you is, “Are you worth it?”
Enjoy the show!
